A case study is a type of research design that examines and proposes solutions to problems. A case study can be used to promote an idea or academic research. They are very broad.
An assignment called a case study requires you
to analyze a particular case (organization,
group, person, or issue) and then explain how the elements and complexity of that case relate to the theory. Sometimes,
you will need to create solutions to problems or
recommendations for future action.
The situation will be presented, the reason
behind your intervention, and the process
used to analyze it. You can also reflect on the results of your work and discuss possible future actions. You will
need to discuss the process and how it is
applied in practice, as well as show that
you have a good understanding of its theoretical foundation. Also, reflect on the effectiveness of this process in
relation to anti-oppressive and social policy
issues.
