NRSG266 Assessment Nursing Case Study
While Registered Nurses play an essential part in providing health care to those who are experiencing health changes and are also involved in providing the aspects of health care required by changes in health that are experienced in a variety of environments and it's an essential requirement that nurses are capable of providing care to patients who experience these changes. This course is necessary for students to support their ongoing formation of knowledge that is based on the various aspects of nursing care that are required by older people as well as the aspects of care required due to normal aging.
This course will concentrate on encouraging
living well and independence, as well as
keeping dignity and choice for older adults as they deal with age-related changes such as risk factors,
social issues, and functional effects which may
arise with aging. The key principles
that support the best practice of nursing will be demonstrated through the use of empirically-based
case research. The role of the
registered nurse in different situations, as well as within the context of multidisciplinary care will be
discussed. The knowledge gained from this
course will help inform nurses' future practice
in a variety of environments.
NRSG266
Assessment Nursing Case Study goal of this course is to help students acquire knowledge and develop skills in the delivery of
person-centered, nursing care that is
evidence-based for older people.
As we age and the increasing number of
hospitalized older patients, it could
affect the manner and level of care given by registered nurses to patients who are older. Acopia is a condition
that is often symptomatic that is a result of
the aging process in which an individual
is unable to handle everyday activities. As aging progresses, it is caused by diminished physical and
mental abilities which affect their
quality of living (Davis Zajac and Davis, 2015). Different negative attitudes and insufficient knowledge be a reflection of stereotypical attitudes toward aging.
Aged people who are labeled as having
anacopia or inability to deal with asymptomatic diseases that have no prior history of medical issues are frequently
viewed as unsuitable for hospital admissions.
Patients with acopia may exhibit symptoms
of aging such as a decrease in movement, heart rate fluctuations, and so on. In this scenario, the patient
who had Acopia was not considered to be a
better candidate.
