In this Assessment, you will be involved in the analysis of policies. To help you with your assignment, select a health policy (either present or in the past) that is either at the federal or state level, for analysis of the policy in this assignment (e.g. policies on mental health, health for women policies, or preventative health policy or men's health policy Aboriginal as well as Torres Strait Islander health policy). The assignment should be around 2500 words (or (+/? 10%) and be written in the form of an essay. How are different social groups represented in this policy? What implications do they have?

*Is there any moral judgments made in this portrayal?

Policy Solutions

What solutions are proposed to tackle the issue?
What alternatives could have been missed?
Do you see any ethical, power, or social consequences of this policy?

Effectiveness

Consider the way in which you have implemented the policy. How effective do you believe the current policy is being implemented?

What are the accountability mechanisms to ensure the policies are followed?

*Reflect on the evaluation measures (indicators) as well as any other type of evaluation that has been conducted.

Finalize your essay by completing it with your conclusion.

Criteria for Assessment:
