BN111 Programming Fundamentals Assignment

This is a second trimester-specific core unit that is one of an overall 24 units within the Bachelor of Networking (BNet) and Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Telecommunications) (BEngTech(Tel)). This course addresses the BNet as well as the BEngTech(Tel) course outcomes and is a supplement to other courses in a similar subject by enhancing students' abilities and knowledge of programming.


This course provides students with key methods of programming employing an object-oriented method. Students are introduced to basic concepts of object-oriented design as well as concepts as well as techniques to reuse components when developing complicated software.

Class Participation and Contribution

Attendance Requirements

All students on campus are required to attend classes scheduled – in certain courses they are classified as a compulsory (pass/fail) component, and attendance is required. International students, who have a student visa, have to keep a full-time course load and fulfill both academic and attendance standards for each study period (satisfactory participation for International Students is defined as having at least 80% in attendance).
